Waldrip Of NHS Wins A First InEddie Waldrip of Nocona won the 120 high hurdles in 15.3; the I 180 yard low hurdles in 20.7 and I posts 20.3 in the qualifying for ■ finals at a track meet held Sat- 1 urday at Tarleton State college ■at Stephenville.Another NHS ace, Dennis Rich- tl ardson, qualified in the 100 yard blt; dash with 9.9 and the 220 with si 22.0, but had to withdraw after nlt; he pulled a leg muscle. LiCecil Matheson ran in Richard- in son’s place along with Don Stoud-1 er, Keith Sewell and Waldrip af- sc ter the quartet qualified for the n( 400 yard relay. They won fifthplace. tilt;Bill Hopkins won fourth in the Li 120 high hurdle and qualified for su the finals. Twenty eight schools 25 were in the meet.
