Tring, the Boxer, surrendered at the above Assizes, and took his trial upon the Coroner’s Inquest, of Manslaughter, but there being no evidence, he was acquitted : Colonel Ta rlton was in Court to describe the battle.Tuesday was fought a most severe battle in the Islington Fields, between a person unknown, and a noted pugilist of Bush-lane, Cannon-street; when after a contest of twenty minutes, the Bush-lane Hero was obliged to give it in, with the loss of a great deal of blood, and one of his eyes completely closed.
