The biggest pickerel ever landed in Manitoba was caught in George Lake in the Whiteshell region during the SOs. It weighed in at 18.48 pounds. The most recent figures available are for 1990 when 114 master angler pickerel were landed, four of them from Lake Manitoba.RoyDOUG HILL
