3TFARLAND ANB LEACHNew York, Mar. 23.—The popular Fairmont A. C. has arranged an attractive card for its weekly boxing show tonight. The main event will bring together Packey McFarland, the Chicago lightweight, and Leach Cross, the East Side fighter, in a ten-round bout. It will be the second time these two have met in the ring. On the first occasion the Chicagoan had all the better of the New York boy. Since that time, however, Cross has undoubtedly made rapid progress in the fighting game and as he is in the best of condition his friends expect him to at least break even with McFarland.
