Clarence Donnellloins Minneapolis Balt Club.At Iasi Clarence Donnell baa ; yielded to tempting offer# and joined W. H. 'Watkins’ team of Minneapolis base ball players. He has always said no,bat tbe unprovedoffers tempted and he yielded. He will join tbe team at Colimbus,, Ohio,about May 1 and in the mean time he will continue to look after bit* business interests here and provide for it,tbat they will not suffer during his absence. The fans and many admirers of Clarence will regret that he is not to be with our local team this season, and will promise tbat we will iav$ up our ‘‘dough” and meet him at tbe first game be pitohea in In-dianapolis with as good a crowd of ‘rooters^as ever came down the pike. That (ana and rooters in the Araer-can Association may not needlessly waste their time and voices, we now notify them that they might as well try to rattle the sun that shines down on tbe bleachers as to try to rattle Clarence Donnell while in the box.
