Tigers Select Terry Truax To Cage PositionBALTIMORE (AP — Towson State University named Terry Truax to take over the reigns of the Tigers’ mens basketball program.TSU President Hoke L. Smith made the announcement Monday at a press conference.The 38-year-old Truax comes to Towson State from Mississippi State University where he was the top assistant coach for the past two years.In addition to his tenure at Mississippi State Truax has been an assistant coach at North Carolina, Virginia, Florida and Colorado.Truax, a native of Hancock, Maryland and a 1968 graduate of the University of Maryland, will replace Vince Angotti who resigned after 16 years as head coach.
