She’s a tremendous outside shooter, always doubleteamed.There was none better this year than Terri Dale when it came to following her own shot. An outstanding driver because of her quickness, she’s also a fine outside shooter. Terri averaged 38.1 points this season.Heading the second-team guard court is Pat Turley of Adel along with Betty Grieser, Manson; Peggy Hartwig, Ocheyedan, and Teresa Halupnik, North Tama.Although playing out of position at 5-7, Patty always handled the opposing teams’ biggest forward She is the leader of the Adel guard court and always drew praise from the opposing coach. Patty was picked as a third-team All-Stater last year.Betty helped Manson to a 20-2 record and the Twin Lakes Conference championship. She was the leader of a guard court that held opponents to a 45.9 average. She had 207 rebounds, 126 steals and 68 blocked shots.Peggy is a three-year letter-winner for Ocheyedan; three times she was All-Clay Conference. She set the pace for a team that had one of the best defensive averages in the state. During the season she blocked 126 shots, had 141 steals and 255 rebounds.Teresa has the one-game rebounding record for NorthTama with 21. She also has the school’s interception record for a season with a 6.4 average to rank her 18th in the state. She is also one of the top sprinters in the state and runs the 100, 220 and 440.Adel, ranked number one throughout the season, was the only club to have three All-Staters.
