Play then reverted to the last completedinning, the seventh.Since neither team had previously scored, the game will go down in the records as an official tie and each team will be credited with % win, lh loss in the Central District stand-ed the lead-off man in each ofthe first two innings, and thenproceeded to retire the next 16 batters in a row.The Knights1 ace was credited with 12 strikeouts although he got three more in the top of the eighth which will not count.Dale had Prince George starter Chudoba on the ropes in the fourth, fifth and sixth frames, but were unable to score.Then in the seventh, with Kicky Robb on third and one out, left-fielder Rusty Baird made a diving catch of a line drive off the bat of Warren Walls.Robb, who thought the ball would fall, was half-way up the third base line when Baird came up with the saving grab.
