DufrostEducation week was observed at Frontenac school from March 3 to T, when doors were open to all visitors who were interested In seeing the children at work and viewing the displays of school work. A special closing program was held on Friday afternoon. This included a radio program with announcer, news commentator, storey-teller. essays, sketches by the primary grades and a match at ‘‘20 questions between boys and girls of grades 6,7 and 8. The visitors also had the opportunity of seeing a display of i arts objects in craft by the school ; pupils.| * * *Dufrost has been making headlines in sports during the past few weeks. On Saturday. March 8, at St. Malo. a hockey game wa« played between the Dufrost school boys' team and St. Malo. The score was 4 to 3 in favor of St. Malo after a 10 minutes overtime period. Taking into consideration the fact that the Dufrost team was one man short, when one of its players was injured at the beginning of the first period, w’e all think the boys made a very good showtng and wish them better luck next year with at least a few relief players,* * *A challenge had been made some two weeks ago to find the winner on a horse race between Cordite, 8 year old bay-colored thorough-bred owned by Aurile Cateliler of Arn-aud, and Trigger, 4 year old bay* colored, standard-bred, owned by Ernest Marion of Dufrost.News soon spread, so last Sun* day at 3 p.m. some ISO spectators from surrounding towns gathered
