A three-year starter, Ellis **is one of our finest offensive blockers,'* Wacker stated.• An outstanding blocker and receiver, Robert Valdez, 5-11, 195-pound tight end, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nicolas Valdezof San Antoniowas one of the leading receivers in 1973 and1971, He also serves as one of the most crucial blockers in the veer offense.The Most Valuable Player in 1974, Mike Washington, 5-10, 170-pound quarterback is the son of Mr, and Mrs, lyiwienceSaturday, March 22Washington of Austin.Washington has also attained the honors of All-NAIA as well as second team \ll-American.
