DufrostMr. John Bugara and Mr. Bill Saw* chuk are canvassing the district illaid of the Red Cross. 'Mr. and Mrs. J. Whall and Mr. and Mrs. P. Kinal are playing in the Emerson Boitspiel. To date they have won 2 and lost 3. i• » iDufrost men have been bu*y as bees. On Saturday thing* were really humming at the old gar* age. About 16 men were measuring, cutting and nailing rafter* for the new cwrUng rink, torn the school boy* were pressed in*to service pulling out nail*, etc.• * *A birthday party was held on Mon* day for little Gloria Whall at whicha number of her friends were present.She la five years old. Happy birth*, day dear.• * •Mr. and Mrs. Jansen and boys via*ited the Harry Kerrs in St. Vital onSunday. The Kerrs are former real*dents of Carey.• * •A church sendee was held at the Greek Orthodox church in Dufrost on Sunday. Father Sawchuk from Winnipeg officiated. After the service a lunch was served in the hall. In the evening a card party was held which was well attended. This was In aid of the church.
