PIERPONT INN GOLFLINKS ARE NOW OPENThe new Pierpont Inn golf linkshave been comple*ed and the visitorsto the pretty Ventura Inn will have another feature for their entertainment.The course consists of six holes asa starter, but the course will be en-l larged by next fall.IThe putting greens are oiled and thefair course has a fine crop of nativegrasses to give a nice playing surface.i The links have been laid out on | the cliffs adjoining the Inn, and offer a splendid view of mountains, sea,and Channel Islands.Many natural hazards will make this little course quite difficult toplay. Two of the holes are playedover barrancas, which will create some real mental hazards.Twenty-five residents of Ventura and vicinity have joined the club, andconsiderable enthuiasm has been created locally for this, the first golflinks in Ventura county.The course will be free to guestslof Pierpont Inn.t
