Former Detroit Fielder Is III# Detroit, Mich* TP—The former Detroit* Tiger outfielder, ..Robert Fothergill, was in a hospital today, recuperating from* 4 sadden illness.,The rotund Fothergill suffered a stroke yesterday. His physician, Dr. A. B. Greiner,, said today that FothergilPs condition is improved and that he is out of immediate danger.Fothergill is coach of the baseball team at the Lawrence institute of Technology in Detroit. Fear was expressed that he would be unable to continue his coaching duties this Spring.
