LOCAL JUNIOR HIGH TEAM BEATS DELPHI 25-21; WIN TOURNEYBefore a large crowd at the Delphi Armory last Friday night, Coach Bob Jarrett’s local Junior High basket ball team captured the county championship from a determined and fighting Delphi five. Delphi was unable to connect from the field in the^first half and the Badger quintet,gained a 16-6 margin which proved to be too much tor the Oracles to overcome. Delphi rallied to tie the game at 21-all before Martin Rinehart was fouled twice and connected on both to give the locals the victory and the championship. The Flora scoring was well divided while Drowder and Landis led the Delphi ive with nine apiece. The little Badgers advanced to the final game with ;riumphs over Camden and Deer 2reek by scores of 30-21 and 33-12 respectively. Delphi gained the final •ound by beating Ytoman and Pitts-Durg.
