Betts to some amount depended on the issue.Tuesday morning a desperate battle was fought in Step-ney-fielasv between W. Tiirner, a baker, of Mile-End-Grcen, Stepney, and a Publican of Mile-End Row, which lasted one hour and 20 minutes. The former was killedon the spot, the other lies dangerously ill at his house.—On Thursday the coroner’s jury pronounced a verdict of wilful muraer.
