Tigerettes Win Second GameBalanced scoring carried the Edwardsvillc High School girjs* basketball team to a 59-25 victory over Wood River Thursday afternoon.It was the second start of the season for the Tigerettes and their second win of the campaign.Edwardsville will put its perfect mark on the line Saturday at Wood River. It will be involved in a quadrangular sports day with the host team, Triad and RoxanaGames will begin at 8:30 a.m. and run a* hour intervals until 2-33 p.m.The Tigeretts Thursday jumped out to a 3P13 halftime bulge.Sharon McDonald finished with 18 points, and Toni Hymel and Sandy Schoenleber chipped in with 15 and 10 points to account for most of the Ed-wardsvilte scoring.Edwardsville also captured the jayvee game. It built up a 17-2 lead at halftime and bung on for a 24-16 verdict. Lois Gvillo and Carol Dappert combined for 14 points to spark the winners.
