At Portland, where ] it was last exhibited it gave thorough ] satisfaction. It is an entire negro show and oft the beaten paths of theatricalsI and minstrelsy. The cake walk is the principal feature, but the other novelties* such as the quartette singing, ragtime contest, both In piano playingand dancing are fully up to the musicalstandard. The most amusing feature will be the sparring by darkies la barrels and a battle royal between four I darkles with large hosing gloves. TheI hosing in barrels will be handled by I a darkey in each barrel, with large box-I Ing gloves, a genuine and amusingburlesque.
