Syracuse Fans Buying StockIn B allclubSYRACUSE, N. Y. (AP)-The Syracuse Chiefs- reported Tuesday that 600 baseball fans in Central New York had bought or pledged to buy $38,000 in stock in the community-owned club,The Chiefs open training Wednesday at Fernandino Beach, Fla,, for the International League season that begins April 18.General manager Don Labbruz-zo said .$18,000 In cash had been deposited in a bank and another $20,000 had been pledged.The ^club' still hopes to raise $100,6)0. Seven radio stations in the Syracuse area will participate in day-long campaigns next Tuesday and Wednesday to promote sales of Chiefs' stock.
