Gordon, Schultz, KJuss.“The Warriors”THE BOYS in the picture above are the “Basketball Warriors” of Postville High, and certainly well deserving of being called this name. They fought hard in 13 games and although they had to face defeat in two of them, they suitably epresented the old Scarlet and Black'barmer in this athletic reason. Everyone, no matter what his occupation may be, or how highly in life he may be esteemed by the rest of the public, has a reward coming in the end from either man or God; therefore the team will be awarded the honor of a good banquet from the business men for the season’s-work and each individual was awarded a letter from the school for his faithful services during the season. Those who were gifted with the honor of a letter as recognition for their work, from the school, were Captain Eldo Gordon, forward; Gale Welzel, forward; Howard Bulman, forward; Edward Neff, center; Kenneth hchultz, guard, and LaVerne Kiuss, guard. The qualification to receive a letter was to play 12S minutes during the actual playing time .of the season's games. Nevertheless we must not leave out those who did notieceive a letter, but are indirectly responsible for the success of the team, by practicing against them and helping them to perfect their offense and defense so that they might •diow the crowd a good example of basketball. They are Milo Meyer, forward; Francis Sehroeder, forward; James Lennon, guard; George Huebner, guard.
