Totals 11 3 25Conemaugh-Frankiin Win State Cage TitleDOYLESTOWN, March 13 uP)— Conemaugh-Frankiin is the new state champion of the American Legion sponsored Connie Mack Youth program's Knee-Hi basketball tournament. #The winners, from the Johnstown area played and won three straight games yesterday, defeating Shellmire A. C., of Philadelphia, 43-30, in the final game to take the championship. Coach Walter Hite received the trophy for the victors.In the course of becoming champions. Conemaugh-Frankiin first beat Doyle^itown 59-25, and then defeated Harrisburg Post 1001, 44-29. AH games were played at the Central Bucks High School gym.Shellmire eliminated defending champion Easton, Friday in the opening round, 45-37. The new champs drew a bye in the opener. In the semifinal Shellmire took a 41-32 decision from Emmaus.
