Elbert Hubbard of East Aurora fame is of the opinion that football can cause insanity. He says he is personally acquainted with two young men In lunatic asylums, who are there as a result of injuries sustained from football playing, and their ravings are the cries and signals of the game. During the year 1903 two men were killed in prize fights, and in a seaon of three months, just passed, twenty-one men have been killed playing football, fifteen of which died of broken backs or necfca.
