Muskiette Cogers Finish UndefeatedJohn Glenn’s Muskiettes are now resting up after what Coach Rick Sherman called an “excellent” season.The varsity cagers finished undefeated, • winning the Muskingum Valley League and compiling 19 consecutive victories.The reserves ended with a 5-4 record; one game better than last year’s team, which was 4-5.Coach Clyta Young says she is pleased with both teams.“Although the reserves should have made morebaskets, she commented.. Leading the varsity in overallpoints and rebounds was Nancy Chess with 231 points and 201 rebounds.Paula Waddle followed with 87 points, and Nancy Hutchison took second on rebounds with 68. Pam Moore had 30 steals and Nyla Stats had 25.High scorers for the reserves were Lonnie Crawford with 40 points and Jill Lighthizer with 35.Jill also pulled down 37rebounds.
