The Warriors split in Regionalplay by beating Carlyle the firstgame and getting beat at thehands of powerful Centralia the second game.The game wasn’t even close as the Warriors went on the warpath in an easy victory. Ace CarlJolliff poured in 24 points forthe Warriors. Scorers as follows; Thompson 10, Jolliff 24, Padberg 12, Walker 19, Gerrish 13, and Halbrook 6. The final score was 80 to 59.The game with Centralia was something that all the boys were looking forward to as the Warriors slipped and got beat 83 to 69 as Larry Thompson lead the team with 23 points. The Warriorsstarted out fast by breaking away to a 5 to 0 lead before the Centralia offense started to click. Atthe end of the first period the Warriors trailed by 5 points.
