TWO FORMER EAU CLAIRE BEAKS ran into trouDie over the weekend in efforts to cement their positions with the Milwaukee Braves. Bob Trowbridge, righthanded fastballer, was victim of a base-clearing double by A1 Robertson as the Philadelphia Athletes beat the Braves Monday, 6-4. Bill Bruton, fleet center fielder who injured his foot in a slide Sunday, was flown back to the Braves’ camp at Bradenton for X-rays. Bruton's injury may give Hank Aaron, another former Bears star, chance for a more thorough tryout in right field, with Andy Pafko, still another Eau Claire alumnus, moving to center. Aaron obliged with a homer against the Boston Red Sox Wednesday.
