Twin Falls next opposes the Gooding-Jerome winner at 9 p. m.SHOSHONE, March 11 (Special)—In two stirring battles, a pair of teams was eliminated from the running in the Class B district tournament under way here today.In the first contest, the Heyburn entry, champion of the Mini-Cassia district, fell before Hailey’s powerful club by a score of 35-34 in a thriller.Following that, the host team of Shoshone stayed in the running by scoring an overtime win over Hazel -ton. South Side champions, by a count of 29-25.In the Hailey^Heybum tilt, the winners were ahead at every quarter—9-8 at the end of the first stanza, 19-16 at the half time and 29-24 when the last period opened. But late In the final frame the Hey-bum quint went into the lead, only to have Capt. Bonin of the Hailey club, leading scorer of the tourney, drop in the shot that broke a 33-all tie. Heyburn had a chance to tie the score on two gift shots a few seconds later, but missed on one of the chances. Hailey stalled out the final 45 seconds of play.Top ScorersGOODING COLLEGE WINSBOISE.
