back home recuperating.The Vita Curling rink may not be finished but it is in full use.The 14 and under boys are skating and practising hockey three days a week; officially and they often sneak in an hour or two a few times when skating is not officially to be done.The broomball games are getting more frequent and more frequented. Slowly but very surely more people, including grown ups, are showing up with some of the meanest looking brooms seen anywhere.Good games are usually the result, and if a few muscles are sore the next day, it is a small price to pay for the pleasant company and vigorous exercise that accompany the pain.The wives of the players must be very short of brooms or else they are in possession of very nev ones because the casualtyljcf jc fiprrpThe partly finished stage looks like a witches convention at which unlucky meeting war has been declared to be effective irrnne-dialy if not sooner.
