The score was SMB.The Cavemen have now finished in a tie with Lehi for the Alpine District title with Lincoln pushed back into third place. The Forkers and Pioneers, along with Spanish Fork and Sprlngvllle, wili represent Region 3 at the Class » tournament this month In the BYU fieldhouse.The Cavemen won their showdown battle with the Tigers on the strength of their ability to bottle up the Lincoln drives. In fact, the Tigers were able to cut loose only four shots each half from the keyhole. The Cavemen got 20 good shots from this area.In spite of the 13-point Forker win, the game was fought quite evenly most of the way. At the close of the first quarter, Lincoln fans were the jubilant members of the packed house.Noticeably Tight Both teams were noticeably tight as the game got under way. La-Relt Ooulding, Tiger center, finally got things going with a foul pitch.
