li ield Set ForNAIB TourneyKansas City (#*)—Intercollegiate basketball’s most rugged championship test, the 32-team NATH tournament, will begin its annua! 6-day cage marathon in municipal auditorium here Monday.The champion will get a spot in the eight-team Olympic playoffs at New York city March 27, 29 and 3!.’*Marshall College of Huntington, W. Va,, the 1947 champion, will attempt a second title, something no team has succeeded in accomplishing during the past nine tournaments.Teams were chosen by district committees of the NAIB, many of them through playoffs. It's- the strongest field in history of the meet. Thirty states will be represented with Minnesota getting two berths. Hamline University of St. Paul, 1942 champion, and Mankato State Teachers, finalist last year, are the Minnesota teams.Among the more highly regarded teams are Brigham Young University, Louisville (Ky) University, Manhattan College of New York, Hamlin*, Northeast Missouri Teachers of Kirksville, San Jose Calif.
