Seandia w$h second place and Mahaska got the third place award.The Mahaska team defeated Republic in the consolation game bya score of 67 to 32. 'Republic mu* way off their usual style of play and couldn’t even make their set ups.Courtland started off with a bang against Seandia and held ia 17 to 0lead at the end of the first quarter!./The Seandia team look better however in the second half and the finl count was Courtland 6 and Seandia 38. Both teams are entered in the Regional Tournament at Beloit this week with Seandia meeting Ivebanon last night (Wednesday).A very large and enthusiastic crowd witnessed the three sessions with the Friday night crowd overflowing the gym. H. C. Quantic, Superentendent of the Seandia schools should be highly complimented in the manner in which he organized and ran the tournament• in connection with his duties as coach of the Seandia Swedes.Cap Berger, former pre.suiem of the Seandia Community Club pre-sented the trophies to the thre wir ners, Courtland, first; Seandia. second; Mahaska, third.
