MPJHS 8th B' boyswin but girls loseJeff Tuller intercepted a pass and hit a 15 foot shot from the corner with two seconds to go to give the Mt. Pleasant Junior high eighth grade boys B” cage team a 26-25 win over Ft. Madison here Thursday. The MPJHS eighth grade girls “B team lost, 41-6.Tuller was high for the Panther Cubs reserv es, now 5-0, with eight points. Joe Ruby had six; Dennis Cornell, four; Keith Carver, three; Brian Michelson. two; Dave Snavely, two and Brian Sour wine, one. Fuget led Ft Madison with eight Tuller did the best job of rebounding, according to Coach Doug Wumkes, who played 17 boys inthe game.Mt. Pleasant trailed 10-8 and16-14 by quarters and led 21-19 at the third quarter mark.The Panther Cub girls, now 0-5, trailed 17-4 at halftime Usteharger was high for Ft, Madison with eight points. Sharon Bright scored four; Teresa Housh and Tammy Perrott, two each. Guard Cathy Whaley rebounded and passed well, Coach Steve Armstrong said. They were too quick and two big for our girls to handle,Armstrong said.The MPJHS A teams will play at Koekuk Monday at 4:30 The B” teams of the two schools will play here next Thursday at 4:30 p m
