Word was received of the arrival of two Maynard soldiers in New York on Monday of this week.Private Fred “Brick” Wilder, formerly catcher of tlie Red Sox and also of the Buffalo team, left Brest, France, Feb. 19 on the U. S. S. Frederick and landed in New York Monday, March Ik Private Wilder went across with the 70th Division and was assigned to military police duty with (lho lB2d Infantry.
