Marion Center Stuns Br'kvilleBy One PointBROOKVILLE ~ In in independent basketball game Satur-day, Marion Center ended • 64 fame winning streak by t h e Brookville Courtmen, 92*01, in crvertime.Brookville, which was ahead In (he game by as much as 11 points, suffered its first loss since March 1967.With time running out in regulation play, Brookville scored to go up by two points, but with only 15 seconds to go, Marlon Center’s Dick Crawford, former IUP great, dropped one in to deadlock the score at 87 - 87 and send it into overtime.Marion Center took the game In overtime with Crawford scoring three and Marty Bolo, another local cage standout, putting in the two point clincher.Crawford tied for game scoring honors with 39 points on 18 field goals. Bolo had 23 markers and Bob Schabhut coaxed in 16,Jim Racchini, assistant basketball coach for United High School, shared top honors with Crawford by popping for 39 points.
