Bellevue and Hailey WinHAILEY, March 4 (Special) — Hailey and Bellevue scored victories In the first day's play of the Wood River tournament here last night, as four teams saw action in the boys division. In the girls’ section the Carey girls won over Bellevue.After leading the entire first three quarters, the State school team slowed up in the last quarter to let the Bellevue aggregation annex a 36-33 victory. Anderson of the Gooding club was high scorer for the contest with 12 points.The powerful Hailey Wolverines, defeated only once this season, smothered the Carey boys by a count of 47-23. Bonin lead the way for the victors with 20 points, with the outcome never in doubt from the start of the game.Tonight the Godding State school takes oh Carey at 7:30 in an elimination game. At B:30 the Hailey and Carey girls do battles and at 0:30 Bellevue meets Hailey in an undefeated team contest.
