Jerome Sorrells, who won aUJi - Cr- .district championship in the Goi-den Gloves, was chosen this year from South Haven High School to 'attend Boys' State. JHe was picked on the basis of his scholastic record at school.The choice was announced Sun clay at a banquet held at the Clif-I ford Weitorn American Legion Post for the Golden Glovers. The^ district commander was present.| The banquet was under the direction of the Clifford Welbom Auxiliary, with Mrs. Claude El-dred. president, as chairman.
