Basket Ball Tournament.Anamosa high school carried off high honors at the Lenox college basketball tournament, last week. The tourney held this year was probably the most successful ever staged at Hopkinton. While the scores indicated but few closely played games, nevertheless, much good basketball was displayed and interest ran high throughout the meet. Hopkinton higfc school fell before Anamosa in the final game, finishing second, while Springville defeated Central City in the consolation for third place.Results of first round:Hopkinton 34; Strawberry Point 9.Cascade 37; Wyoming 16.Anamosa 52; Epworth 14.Central City 27; Center Junction 22.Springville 32; Delhi 21.Dysart 51; Coggon 9.Oneida 34; Colesburg IS.Second round:Anamosa 28; Cascade 23.Hopkinton 27; Dysart 20.Springville 39; Oneida 8.Central City drew a bye.Semi finals:Anamosa 33; Springville 26.Hopkinton 42; Central City 13.Championship round:Springville 41; Central City 11.Anamosa 42; Hopkinton 21.Sow Some Sov Bean Seed.
