Birth certificates will be requested at the time of registration and are required prior to admission. The following guidelines outline the responsibilities and rights of parents, schools and school divisions that will govern the parental choice of schools.Once a pupil has been accepted in a school of choice he or she shall be entitled to continue at that school, year after year, as if a designated pupil of that school.GUIDELINES Schools of ChoiceThe following guidelines, as developed by the Minister of Education, are being communicated to parents and students for the 2011-2012 school year as they relate to schools of choice:1.2.3.Parents wishing to enroll their child(ren) at a school other than the area or designated shcool must submit an application form to the Principal of the receiving school by May 15, 2011. The form is available from any school or from the Division Office.
