Kaskaskia Takes Tcurnament TitleThe NJCAA Section IV bask-etball tournament was concluded Thursday night, February 23, with the Kaskaskia Blue Devils carrying home the victory.Kaskaskia controlled the cha-mpionship game against Olney Community College, forcingOCC to play the Blue Devils own type of game. The outstanding player for Kaskaskia was Lyle Doehrlng, with a total of 23 points. Mul-vaney provided 18 more, and Bryant and Kegler scored 13 points each. Rod Doris of Olney led his team with 17 points.The fighting “Blue Devils” of Kaskaskia have a great past, having won the Nationals in 1964, and show signs of bright future for the 1967 tournament. They move now to Normal and play once again on March 2, facing the winner of the Chicago sect-ional. Coach Chuck Mundell of, Kaskaskia states he has great hopes for his team at Normal, and feels that he now has an even better team than he had in 1964. jKaskaskia and Olney are both 1 excellent rebounding teams, and Kaskaskia emerged victorious in this category, gathering in 49 rebounds to Olney's 43. Free throws were the deciding factor in this game as Kaskaskia successfully made 21 and Olney only 8. Both teams hit 27 field goals. I
