C. Bradford received orders from Governor Mount to stop tlm contest in case it partook of the nature of a genuine prize fight. Mr. Bradford stated today that Mr. Reese, proprietor of the house, and John Fitzsimmons, who was to referee the contest, called on him Monday, to ascertain if possible, whether or not the meet would be stopped.
