WHISKERED TRIBEPLAYS NEGRO NINEAT 6:30 TONIGHTIIThe diamond struggle tonight at Griffin Park starting at 6:30 between the House of David and Gilk-erson’s Union Giants will be the best exhibition of talent from the outside here this season from advance reports. Fans will find two of the *strongest traveling clubs mix in a hot encounter besides witnessing a unique pepper game, clown stunts and baseball talent. !Gilkerson’s Giants are a negro team while the House of David men are all whiskered, the latter team having played a local aggregation here two years ago and had no trouble winning.For the Giants, Davis holds the batting honors with a percentage of .446, Radcliffe being second with .384. Aside from these two their roster includes Byas, McNair, Akers, Claxton, Torrienti, Haley, Smauld-ing, Page, Johnson, Allen and Coleman.Lawrance, Savage, Tucker, Powell, Talley, Fleming, McCafferty, Ander-json, Neve, Bass, Radloff, Gilbert and Noel are the members of the House of David lineup.Batteries will not be announced until the start of the game which will be over in plenty of time for the wrestling card at 9 o’clock at the Elks’ temple gymnasium.
