P«nkhydi MCLUB BEAT SPRUDELS EVERY GAME theAEbeThe Cuban Stars, who play theChamps hsre tomorrow, have lost two men, Ralph Almeida and Armoano,^.^Marson, who were signed yesterday by the Cincinnati National League team. The men were owned by the New Britain (Conn.) team, who made the sale to the Reds. It is the first instance of a major league signing Cuban players.The team, which carries fourteen players, will not be weakened by the deal, when it comes to this city tomorrow afternoon. They have been playing a series of games with the West Baden Sprudels, during this week, and have taken every game hands down. The visitors from the island republic will, following their game in this city, go to Newport, Ky., for a game with a team at that place.Weather permitting, the visitors will probably attract a record week day attendance at Washington Park tomorrow. The members of the team are the base ball wonders of the present day, and the base ball fans of this city will turn out well to see the unusual attraction.
