Branch new CAHA directorOTTAWA (CP) — David Branch, secretary manager of the Ontario Hockey Association, has been appointed executive-director of the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA), it was announced Tuesday.Branch, a 29-year-old native of Bathurst, N.B., will replace Gordon Juckes who retires Sept. 1 after 15 years as the CAHA’s executive director.CAHA president Gordon Renwick of Cambridge, Ont. said in a statement that Branch’s “experience and ability in working with volunteers and professional people makes him an excellent choice.”
