The bride is one of Missouri’s fairest daughters’ and the wedding took place in Kansas City June 20. The following from the Richmond, Mo., Conservator tells of the marriage:Miss Grace Quarles, of this city who attended the annual reunion of Confederate Veterans at Louisville Kentucky, last week, as one of the Missouri maids of honor, was married in Kansas City Tuesday afternoon to Dakin E. Miller, of that city.The bride went to Louisvilie with her parents and at the close of the reunion they went to visit relatives in Tennessee and the daughter left for her home in Richmond. Upon arriving in Kansas City she was met by Mr. Miller and there they decided, to gjet married and at once sought a minister. They arrived in Richmond Wednesday morning and the announcement of their marriage was a complete surprise to relatives and friends here.The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Wm. M. Quarles and is one of Richmond’s most highly esteemed young women.
