THOM Ol YOl GOLFERS who have been having trouble • with the putter might consult Art Chiki The Athens resident, playing in a Royal McBee tournament at the Athens Country Club the other day, had 10 straight one-putt greens.To those of you unfamiliar with the game of golf, two putts per green is considered average, or sometimes above average. ‘ Chiki one-putted the first 10 holes with no putt shorter than ] five feet. The longe-t measured 17 feet. And, to add to the feat, i Chiki one-putted four of the last eight holes for only 22 putts t on the round lie finished with 42-42-84.
