In i the other- games Emporium defeated Cyclone, as both teamsgot four hits. Crosby won from ]----■ East Sinethport, 8-1.Walker, a righthander, struck out ten batters and helped his own cause with two hits against the Lewis Run club. Walker gave up ; both runs in the foursh inning when | the indies took a temporary load.! 2-1, over Clermont. DiFonzo tripledfor one hit off Walker in the secondthe fourth.Clermont took the lead with two runs in. the fifth to go 011L in front again and added an insurance run in the sixth. Paul Hodgclon of Kane, Clermont ca teller, was struck on the temple by a pitched bell in the fifth Inning. Knocked unconscious for a moment ho recovered und rushed to Smcthport for an examination by a physician.Hodgdon was first taken to Smethporl for treatment and then to the Kane Community hospital where x-rays will be taken this morning.
