DARK BOYS WIN ANOTHER GAMEhaofinwThe second game between tlieChicago Tnion Giants and Rhine-lander played Monday evening on the local grounds ended in favor of the Giants. A fair week day crowd witnessed the exhibition, the threatening weather no doubt kept the|th crowd down although there were fans here from the surrounding cities, Wausau, Antigo and other cities being represented. It was a pitchers battle between Richie for the Giants and Johnson for the locals. Johnson however was forced to retire from the game with two out of tlie seventh ining owing to an injury to his pitching hand,I anm her, who replaced Johnson, held the Giants to one hit for the remainder of the game, ltichie allowed but six hits during the entire game and Johnson and Tauscher eight. The Giants put three scores across in the fifth in this fashion. Lowe received four wide ones and walked to first. Cardenas bunted safely advancing Lowe to second. Coleman then advanced both run ners by a sacrifice bunt; ltichie thenhit to left held [.owe scoring. Nuh-licek in left held threw wide to Potter on third in an attempt to catch Cardenas, the ball rolling on the race track, Cardenas scoring Crespo got a hit to center and Ri-chie was caught at home plate trying to score on tin* hit on this playCrespo reached second. Turnerthen got a hit through second and Crespo scored. Evans the next man up flied out to center field retiring the side. With two down in theeventh Crespo wax given a life
