CAREENING MIDGET PROVESTOO MUCH FOR TOREADORAfter crashing into the guard rail on the northwest curve, Harry Schwimmer of Indianapolis, lost control of car No. 74, skidding into mechanics stooges and midget car owners, knocking them down like tenpins. The Spanish toreador flag man, Gomer Lorenz, went down but was not injured seriously. Edd Cotting-ham, Cincinnati, Ohio, car owner, was taken to the hospital with a broken leg and fractured collar bone., Huston Bundy of Dayton, Ohio, finished first in the main event, followed closely by Everett Rice of Chicago, Illinois, who finished second. Races will be held next Saturday night, June 28, at the Greenfield Midgetdrome.
