TRY FOR GAME WITH BEARDED BALL TEAM! There is a possibility that Burlington will have an opportunity of seeing the House of David baseball team perform here in a night game in the not so distant future.Harry Terry, manager of the Burlington Blues has been angling | for a game with the bearded team, and stated Tuesday that he has aIwire from the management stating ; that a game in Burlington can be arranged for. The date has not beer definitely set at the present time, but will probably be during the latter part of July. ;If the team comes to Burling- j ton, and it looks now as though it would, it will bring with it Grover ; Cleveland Alexander and “Oil” Smith, two of the bright lights of the big leagues in their day. It will also put on Its now famous “baseball game on mules.” Those who have seen this act claim it is the funniest thing that ever happened.
