The improving Syracuse Chiefs, making an impressive bid for the first division, are scheduled for three double* headers within five dates, starting with a twinbill against Toledo tonight. After a singleton tomorrow evening, the Chieftains entertain Buffalo in five games, including twinbills Friday night and Sunday afternoon and a Saturday night sin*gleton. The attractions this evening and Friday will get underway at 6 p. m., the two arc-light contests at 7:30 and the two Sundav tilts at 1:30 p. m. Manager Frank Verdi and his charges take to the road after Sunday’s action but return Friday, Fourth of July, to host the Louisville Colonels and are scheduled for nine home games I in seven days. *
