The Brownies Have Been Meeting Strong Teams and Winning Most Decisions.Two of the finest, games of the season were played here on Thursday and Friday with the Chicago Union Giants. In the former game the Brownies won by a score of seven to four and inthe other by five to one. The attendance was very large although threatened by the rain, Saturday the same teams played at Des Moines before two thousand spectators who saw the Giants win by a score of three to two.Mason City will send her crack team over tomorrow to do our colored organization if possible and on Saturday they will meet the foe again at the fairgrounds. Mason City is managed by Cole, who won such success last year while leading the Sioux City team. ] f the weather is favorable the crowds will be large and the playing first class.• Yesterday at Storm Lake, Ilorn made a wonderful record as pitcher by striking out 1» men. Fourteen innings were played and the Brownies beat Sioux City two to one.
