Kiwaniam Down Boosters, Tie for Pony League LeadThe Kiwanis Club moved into i a tie for first place with South 5 Connellsville in the Connells-; vilk Pony Baseball League by polishing off the Boosters Club, 7-2. last night at Pony League Field, behind the six-hit pitching of Vince Tedesco. Both tne Kiwanians and South Connellsville now show 5-2 seasonal records.Tedesco struck out 10 and walked five in recording his fourth win. against one setback. His mates picked up a 4-0 edge in the first three innings, and were on their way.Joe Prudente led the nine-hit offense for the Kiwanians with a bixlh-Uiit'ing Iconic his second of the season, and Mar-tray added a double for the team’s other extra base hit. Tedesco chipped in with a pair of singles, Frank Belko had two hits, and KJeca, Marciante, andTurek added one each,Dave Vhipkey clubbed a homer to complete scoring for the Boosters in the sixth inning, and Feniello and Herrington whacked two'base hits.
